Biography

RAMI will have you scratching your head trying to understand how someone can capture the essence of classic rock, wrap it in a funky coating...and topped with some tongue-in cheek insight into the state of the universe!

After memorizing every note and nuance of Alice Cooper's "Billion Dollar Babies", RAMI had found his home. RAMI worked all that summer, at the young age of 11,  delivering newspapers to save enough money to buy his first set of drums. His passion for music was also influenced by other artists such as, Deep Purple and  Led Zeppelin.

In eigth grade, RAMI, aged 13, performed live for the very first time in front of his peers at his high-school variety show. It was then that he knew without a doubt that he always wanted to be on stage. In fact, even his young age did not deter him from getting his first gig in a bar later that summer.

At the age of 17, after completing high-school, RAMI toured Canada and U.S.A. in what he calls his first “Serious Band”. This was just the beginning. With hundreds of shows, and thousands of miles behind him, RAMI hasn’t stopped, playing in variety of rock bands, mostly as a drummer but also as a front man for many.

His versatile talent allowed him to pick up the guitar and bass along the way. This of course gave him the tools he needed to take the next step in his music career. In 2005, RAMI set up his home studio and began writing, producing and performing his own original music; where you can hear the later influences of artist/bands like,  The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, to name a few.

Most of RAMI's songs have a level of cheeky intelligence, like "Pirhanas", and sometimes subtle social awareness or not so subtle rebelliousness, as in his song entitled "New World Disorder".

With the release of  his two CD’s, "Thinkin' Out LOUD" and "Posse Comitatus", RAMI's passion for his music continues. His music evolves with the times, and you will find references to revolutionary or political themes, at times reminiscent of the original protest singers.

Simply put he's "a cynical political musical powerhouse"; but the buck does not stop there. "Where the Sun Don't Shine" is just a taste of RAMI's diverse and unique writing styles, his way of twisting sexually charged lyrics into a satisfied smile will have you coming back for more.

Keep an eye on this talent! RAMI is all about commitment to rock. He is selling truth and not afraid to have fun, rocking our consciousness along the way!
